You know, I've been singing and playing guitar since I was five, but I still can't solo to save my life. That didn't really matter back in 1979, when I first performed for neighborhood delinquents. I wonder if any of them have made parole yet. Anyhow, when I got to high school, I started playing with local bands that lasted about a week. A far cry from GUM!
So what do I do besides GUM!? I work two jobs; one as a web developer, and the other at Starbucks. I also attend college, working towards a degree in computer science. In my free time, I watch a lot of movies with guns and explosions, and I get a real charge out of being able to recite the dialog from my favorite movies scenes. Verbatim, with all the imitation I can muster. It's fun and it makes people laugh.
I also enjoy my ever-growing prized collection of Chuck Taylor Converse basketball shoes. So guess whose foot and shoe got to be on the cover of CHEW. You got 'im.
