![]() | Jane picked Ilene for backup vocals because she considers this musical gem "A great singer and songwriter." A number of NYC bands agree, keeping Ilene busy with gigs. But she's also quite the comedienne! Her keen sense of humor kept everyone laughing during the recording of "Tapping the Wheel," and she's channeling her talent for merriment into her new musical "Vices" co-written with Everett Bradley. |

![]() | You can catch Shawn on TV every week on "Saturday Night Live," where he plays with the house band. He also performs and records with all kinds of bands around New York City. He has a passion for good cigars, especially Indios provided by Dave Richards. |

![]() | Marc recently toured with Grammy nominee Jewel. He works with a lot of bands around the NYC region and has toured the world with Suzanne Vega. His unflappable temperament earned him the designation "music-life guru" during the crazy times recording "Tapping the Wheel," a reputation he maintains to this day. |

![]() | Everett is artistic director of the off-Broadway show "Stomp" that celebrates percussion. It was featured in last year's Tony Awards show. He also recently wrote a new musical, "Vices," with Ilene Reid. Listen for Everett's European hit single "I Love Ya, Baby;" it recently hit radio stations in the United States. The band calls him "Mr. Goodvibe." |

![]() | Jane met Dave when she was looking for an acoustic bass player for her band and signed him up for a super-long-term contract -- the two got married in April 1994, in the middle of recording "Tapping the Wheel." Gentle and low-key, Dave plays a mean blues riff accompanied by the most interesting facial expressions. He records and performs with a number of both emerging and renowned bands in the NYC area, but saves his best for Jane. |

![]() | Ben has produced records for a variety of musicians, including Marc Cohn, David Wilcox, Patti Larkin, Kathy Mattea, Wes King and Dee Carstensen. This creative genius can turn any space into a recording studio -- even a church and a Sunday School room, as "Tapping the Wheel" proved. Ben likes to spend his spare time with his family or taking long bike rides. |
