Q. What is your band name? No Con, No Confidence?
A. Officially our band name is No Confidence. The name was chosen because in the early days of our band, confidence in the musical ability of the band was low, so we (D.J, Joe, and Chuck) thought it would be cool to name our band after one of it's characteristics. After awhile, the collective lack of confidence in our musical ability wore off, but we decided to keep our name because it's how we started. The name NO CON came up as an abbreviation to No Confidence. That's what our fans called us. It's short, and sounds cool, it also happens to be spelled the same way fowards as backwards. So we adopted it as a nickname. It's kind of like if your name is Michael, but you go by, and everyone calls you Mike.
